Chair Sashes - Organza Or Satin?

Recommended Posts

I hated the white chair covers and begged my FI to upgrade to the Tiffany chairs and he was pretty flexible with most everything else but we have 80 people coming and it would have been $10/chair and he just basically said NO :)

I found a picture on pinterst. that I'm using as my inspiration instead of tying a bow around the chair. It makes me feel a little better about the white chair covers now.

@@Vanessa - ha same here. I also hate the white chair covers & sash look but my FI actually likes them. Since he hasn't asked for much in regards to decor, I said OK but also found a really nice pic that of a sash that ISN'T a bow that makes me feel better about it too.

Those are great options! I think our resort has those white folding garden chairs which I'm okay with if my FI won't go for the Tiffany chairs. If we had to use the chair covers, I think I'd be a lot more insistent

Luckily for me my FI hasn't realized that it will be $15 more a chair! Hahah I'm saving money in other ways so it's ok right?

My REAL anger will come if they charge us twice for the same chairs... Since I want to use them at both the reception and ceremony. They obviously aren't going to ship double chairs to the venue- and our ceremony space will be torn down before out reception starts... But I'm picturing a charge of $30/bum having to be explained to the FI

@@kmk2016 - Definitely fight them on that if they do that! $15 should totally get you usage at both! I'm lucky - I think the Palace rate is quite a bit lower. Can't remember exactly but I think it was around $7 or $8 each and we want to do our ceremony and reception at the same place with cocktails somewhere else, so they could easily move them

Hmm - I think I've just convinced myself it's totally worth it haha

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
