Anyone Used/using A Chapel In Pdc Or Surrounding Area For Ceremony?

Recommended Posts

Hello ladies!  So, has anyone here found an off site chapel for the ceremony in or around PDC? I have a dream of getting married in a tiny little old Meixcan church with only candles and flowers :) my TA is currently looking for options, but maybe you ladies have suggestions!

I am getting married at the Riu Palace Mexico and they have a small chapel but I hear it only holds 20 ppl.  Does anyone know if that's true?

 Thank you so much!

Hello.

I am getting married in pdc on June 15, 2015.  I am getting married at the 5th ave. chapel.  I am having my reception at the Kool Beach Club after.  I had a hard time hearing from the chapel, so my contact at Kool is setting everything up.  She is making everything so easy for me.  I couldn't afford a wedding planner, so it's so helpful that she's doing this for me.  I am also having a small wedding for about 20-25 people.  I really like that location, but the other chapel is nice as well.  Just make sure to give yourself enough time to get your documents from your church at home.  I need to do classes and get paperwork at least 6 months before the wedding.

Thank you ladies!  Unfortunately it seems that the trend is that if you do an off site ceremony, that you do not qualify to purchase a wedding package at most resorts and have to pay a much higher premium per head, so I don't know if I will be able to do an off property wedding :(

El Dorado Royal/El Dorado Casitas/Generations Riviera Maya have a chapel onsite. it's super cute! and amazing resorts.

there's a great shot on the scroller on this page, and also one on the Official EDR/EDCR Thread  - the link is in my signature.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
