@@cayls55 The one thing you'll find in reviewing photographers in the RM is that they have different styles in their photography, so price wouldn't be the only thing to consider. Octavio definitely is well recommended in the review section and there have been a couple of recent brides that used his services. We used a different photographer last October and were completely happy with our photos, but it was his style that I was attracted to and is what made the decision for us.

Hey Ladies!

 

I'm new here, and trying to get an understanding of costs. I haven't settled on Royalton yet, just looking around. Our wedding won't be until 2017.

 

I'm thinking between 30-50 people. I want a Dj for dancing, so I guess I have to have a private dinner? Anyone know a rough cost to something like this?

 

Any thoughts are appreciated!

Hi there,

 

Congrats!  We got married there last June, right after it opened. We had the ceremony and reception on the rooftop (GORGEOUS) and had a DJ, private dinner and open bar for 50 people. It cost us right around $8000. I wouldn't have changed a thing, it was perfect! Let me know if you'd like any other info, I can send you our budget or photos, and not sure if things have changed since then. 

 

p.s. if you want the rooftop at Hideaway children are not allowed, just an FYI

Hey! I inquired with the resort. I requested they provide me with an alternative backup plan because I personally really disliked the ballroom in the basement. We did a site visit in July. My wedding is October 2016.

Hey! I just got back from my wedding here. We were lucky enough to have great weather (got married in the chapel and ceremony on the sky terrace roof top with 84 guests). If you do the ballroom, try to have the full back up plan - for ex, I know someone who draped all the walls of it and made it look nicer!

Hi everyone!

 

Me and my husband to be have booked this hotel for our wedding in June 2017! We will be traveling from the UK with our families. If anyone could send me some price lists for extras such as hair and makeup costs/ bridesmaid bouquets/ musician costs etc that would be fantastic! We are only having a small wedding of around 15 guests and was wondering what our options would be for our reception? We were looking to have the semi private meal in the steak restaurant, however unsure what we would do of the night time?
