New Resort - Royalton Riviera Cancun

Recommended Posts

Hi Julie

I had my wedding in January this year. My ceremony was held on the sky terrace and reception on the beach bar. I loved the beach bar. It was perfect but the food was cold since it had to be held outside in crates. Since your party is small, I would suggest the semi private room in the buffet.

I had the Mexican family style dinner. The ceviche was awesome. Also liked the steak, but like I said food was kind of cold.

Hope that helps!!!!

Can you please send me pictures and details of your wedding?! :) I am having my reception at the beach bar and would love to see actual photos not just the ones the WC sent me from the resort! Thanks cdias1022@yahoo.com

Good idea for both! Are you doing the covered area for the dance floor? How many tables do you have? Did you do a DJ with the fun light set?

I don't think it'll be the covered area but I'm not sure yet :)

I went with one of their basic DJ packages without the lights. Didn't feel I needed a lighting package for dancing :) As long as there's good music, I'm ready to go!

You got that right! All you need is good music!

Thank you! I read your review! Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Only thing I'm worried about is most of my guests are getting the filet mignon for dinner at the wedding :(

Hey everyone

We are getting married at this beautiful resort in April 2018.

I was just wondering to keep costs low we are sticking to our semi private dinner included in the wedding package, our plan was to book the beach bar after but since there are 14 of us going we are unable to as minimum numbers are 16 for this.

So just wondering what else could we do after the dinner as to stay together as a group and enjoy what is left of our night

Hi,

We fly out to the Royalton on 17th May 2017, with our wedding on the 23rd (just awaiting confirmation of our preferred date). Sam, I have got a pricelist from the Royalton with all the extras including the Spa pricelist for make up etc. I can send it over to you if you haven't already got it.

I'm excited, seems like I've picked the right venue.

Lauren xx

Hi Laura I'm planning my wedding for sometime in 2018, do you think you could email me the royalton price list tasemota1@hotmail.com

Thanks in advance!

To everyone interested in price lists and packages. I used Raylene at Ever After to help plan my wedding. I told her my price range and she sent me this gigantic email with a TON of different venues that she knew and trusted to do a wedding right. It literally had every single thing you could think of on there. I think I paid her $50 or something really low like that and she did all the leg work. She even made a wedding website for all my people to book their hotel. Anyways, I'm all planned out and on my final payment to the resort for my wedding in July! I'd love to hear from people about their experience with the family style meal at the Sky Terrace and their DJ. I guess those are the two things I am nervous about. Also, anyone get the paradise package? What was the "free gift"? Thanks!

How did your wedding go? Hope it was perfect and the beach didn’t have too much seaweed.

Anyone have prices for hair and makeup for 2018?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
