@@Nanlvsrav  The free GIWC Welcome Cocktail Reception is a 2-hour cocktail event for up to 50 people (additional $10pp over 50).  It includes a signature cocktail, beer, wine and soda and gourmet bites.  I think they select the location and food choices  for you and unfortunately it cannot be upgraded or modified.

They're not making me pay $10 per person and I'm having 100. They also let me choose the location so you may want to talk to your WC or TA again about that.

@@TinkerSofi here is the link! Works for US and Canada http://www.karismahotels.com/giwcsearch

Ahhh perks! (Not packages).... Yes this is good stuff! Most GI agents will share what they can provide you! Some are even better than this!

Depending on the number of guests, the cocktail reception is usually free anyway- and the caribe photo credit is only good of you go with them as your photographer (many do not)... So spa package is the best bet- or check with your TA they often have better perks like excursions!

@@Nanlvsrav I can't open it because I'm

Not at 150 posts yet :( can you email me the info at lilpersits@@gmail.com?

Thanks!

You can have your WC send you the info as well... It's pretty standard. $15/pp for 3 hrs on the beach with s'mores fixins.... Bonfire is very small but it includes an open bar and reviews from past brides has been great! We are planning this for our welcome event too.

I just set this up with my WC and she was firm on the fact that it would cost me $10pp over 50 people and that I could not modify or upgrade the event in anyway.  You also got them to waive the Sky Wedding Fee too because of the amount of people you are having?

What?!?!  My WC  said the S'mores Party was 2 hours, I could select either:  6pm - 8pm  or 8pm to 10pm and the event must end by 10pm.

I'm at sensatori- so maybe that's why. You can have it for 3 hours, but only 2 hours with the fire (so almost like welcome cocktails as sun sets, then bonfire for 2 hrs)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
