Hi brides!

Cancun is one of the best places to celebrate your wedding!

A few months ago we shared a Same Day Edit production of a hindu wedding,

now we want you to watch the Highlight of that hindu wedding,

It is very interesting to know more about this culture trough the traditions of the brides and grooms.

Hope you like it,

Happy planning!

@@crcombs Let us know if you're interested in doing an Engagement/Save the Date session while you're here in May. It's a nice way to meet face to face to talk more about your wedding and really go over the look and feel you're after ;)

We have a special promotion for couples who would like a pre-session and also book us for their wedding day!

Hi all,

We're planning to have a wedding in Cancun in April 2015. We'd like to keep the price of hotel+airfare from Toronto at $1500, however whatever quote we get from TA's is way higher than that. i.e. Beach Palace $2400 and Riu Palace Mexico $1900 for one week all-inclusive. These rates seem too high to be true. Can some of you share the deals you've got. Do you know when's the best time to book? and also is Jan-Mar cheaper than this? I originally thought prices in late April are lower but it really doesn't look like it.

@@mazarin - If you're flexible with your dates, I'd probably try to do it after this because Jan - March is generally high season because of Spring break/March break. I am looking at December 2014 from Toronto and it is considerably cheaper than Feb (like 500 less for the same resort!)

We considered March and April as well. As previously mentioned, that's considered high season for Cancun. We went with May and saved a couple hundred bucks.

I would ask for quotes for May and June or November and December. I suppose hurricane season months would be cheaper as well.

Hey @@mazarin

@@tygrrlily & @@AyeWatSoon are right. Anytime between January-April is still considered high season here in Cancun and especially when you're looking at booking a year in advance the rates are going to be a bit higher (or a LOT higher) depending on the week and resort. Often our couples are still able to find some great deals during the "shoulder" months (like May-June or Nov-Dec) or of course during September-November.

If you're flexible with the month and resort...since you're from Toronto (my hometown...yay!) you're really lucky because there are so many awesome charter options leaving from YYZ to CUN all year long!

Happy searching!!! :)

For some reason now I am having doubts about Hard Rock. Is there anyone who has looked at this resort or Dreams or Moon Palace. I am kind of interested in those now. I want to have a great time and my group is pretty young so I want somewhere that is going to have a very active vibe. We want a great night life and daytime life! Thank you!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
