Anyone Else Taking Kids?

Recommended Posts

Child-friendly is also the reason we chose RWS. Our nephew/ring-bearer will be 3 and a lot of our friends will be bringing kids ranging from a year old to 12 years old. Ultimately it’s the parents’ decision whether they want to bring kids or not, but I love including kids in weddings, it’s not the same without them!

So many people told me to choose an adults only but I felt bad for the people with kids!

I kept putting myself in their shoes! If I had kids I would totally bring them!

So I chose a kid friendly resort and let the parents decide what they wanted to do! And guess what everyone who has kids is bringing them!

It's a family vacation after all!

@pamelas21 I totally agree with you! Even if we were not taking our kids, I would feel bad not including the option for others to take theirs. So far we only have 5 kids going, but at least they are welcome to the option!

It's nice to give them the option! <3 :)

We have kids and are definitely making them a part of the wedding, so we obviously needed to choose a resort that allowed kids, but we decided to choose a resort that also had an adults only section in case anyone wanted to make it a break from their kids or didn't have kids and wanted to have a quiet section to relax. I couldn't imagine getting married without my kids being there to be a part of it. Right now it's about 50/50 with our friends who are parents, if they are bringing their kids along. Many are saving and making it their big family vacation.

My twins are seasoned travellers and have flown all over the place since 6 months old, even when I was a single mom for a while we cruised and visited Disney World etc, airlines are great at accommodating strollers, car seats etc... Once you arrive to your destination the only tricky part is car seats in taxis or transfers. Private transfer is usually the easiest- and bringing your own seats.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
