Just wondering if anyone had any cheap wedding gifts for our parents. They are not helping to pay for the wedding at all. Are we obligated to get them a gift? I would like to get them something little but I can't come up with any ideas.

I was just wondering about the same thing! I was thinking about getting a nice frame and putting a print of the entire family from the wedding. Then, I was going to include the Philosophy Thank You gift set for the moms. As for the dads, I'm a little bit more stuck.

A friend told me she's going to get everyone personalized handkerchiefs - it's not really my style, but it's a sweet idea and probably less expensive even than my suggestion.

Good luck!

@liz24 @jd0922 One of our recent brides did give her parents embroidered handkerchiefs and they LOVED them! She also gave one to her sister (appropriately embroidered with "No Ugly Crying"! lol)
