Barcelo Maya Photographer? Ocean Photo Studio Package

Recommended Posts

@@riskyteacher Hi! I am also in the same boat as you with regards to Ocean Photo Studio, I am wondering what your negotiated rate for your 5 hours photos, CD, and video is and if I might be able to negotiate the same rate!

Thanks!

After doing some research and factoring the images I saw along with pricing and packages, we decided to go with Octavio for our wedding photography in July 2015. His pricing is very reasonable and he was willing to adjust his packages to accommodate what we wanted.

His website has a lot of information and samples of his work. [ www.OctavioMontes.com ] If you're unsure of your photography options, I would suggest taking a look at Octavio's work. I'm looking forward to my wedding and to working with Octavio next year.

Just to let everyone know, who is considering bringing in a photographer from home ... that it is illegal for someone to come to Mexico and photograph a wedding without proper working papers. The same way people can not just travel to the USA or Canada and work. Cancun airport is very aware of this and as you will see... scans all luggage arriving when you go through customs.

People traveling with more than one camera will need to answer for the equipment. We're not trying to scare you... just give you the facts of working in a foreign country.

MTM has recently changed all the prices to accommodate couples who are working with a budget. We also work with you when your resort charges a substantial "outside vendor" fee to bring us in.

We're not saying you need to hire us, there are many professional photographers available here who will create an an amazing photo record of your Big Day!!!

We ARE saying if photography is important to you - you'll be much happier with the results a professional photographer will deliver :)

To show you what we're talking about, here's a link to some comparisons:

Professional Photographer vs Resort Photographer    ...you can see an example here:

...which photo would you choose to include in your Wedding Day Love Story - to cherish for a lifetime?!?!?

Wishing everyone happy research, and all the best with your plans - cheers!!! team MTM :)

We were going to go with our resorts photography as we didn't want to pay the 500$ extra. however we looked at octavio's website and his SIX hour package plus the 500$ deposit and 10% off comes under what we were going to pay from ocean studio .  so we have decided to go with this option and are very excited to have them capture our wedding!

This is his website if you want more information

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
