Hi everybody!
I'm curious as to what everyone paid for their flights to Cancun? Just trying to get a ballpark figure.

Thanks,

Rebekah

I paid about 750 for a first class flight from NYC to CUN.  Coach was about 400 when I booked but it recently went up to about 450.  It depends on where you ae leaving from and the time of the year.  When is your wedding?

I too paid about $400 back in late January for a non-stop out of NYC.  I agree with @@GingerJ228 - it definitely depends on the time of year and when you book.  My flights would have been $350 had I booked earlier than I did.

Our wedding is in October so we have plenty of time to book. Just looking to see what people pay so if it hits a "good" amount I can book then. We are not very close to a major airport but are fairly close to 3 so I've got a lot of options.

@@rvalenka.. you have plenty of time and flights should be reasonable that time of year.  This current time is very expensive (Feb - April/May) b.c of the winter and spring breaks.  We were looking to get married around this time of year but air and hotel were so much more expensive.

I paid $235 round trip, one stop, out of philly.

I was crazy about checking flights. I downloaded the skyscanner app and checked it everyday...most days I checked 2-3 times. Just lucked out one day that I found the $235.  I really didn't want to have a stop but I couldn't pass on the price. plus we also booked a seat for our daughter...so all 3 of us are flying for under $1000.

More recently I booked my photographers flight.  She was $438 non stop which I thought was awesome.  Prior to booking her I was finding flights for $650.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
