Bridesmaids Gifts

Recommended Posts

I have been searching for a while and cannot find anything amazing to give to my bridesmaids to say thank you.  I've seen a lot of the same things over and over again (jewellery, robes, personalized make up bags, etc), but I'm looking for something different.  None of that felt right.  Any new ideas that can be travel related, but also used again and again?  My ladies are in their mid twenties.

Thank you!

So glad you asked this question because I am actually stuck on the same thing right now!

I ordered derby hats (big floppy sun hats) from marleylilly.com with their initials on them, but I would like to get them something else... maybe a beach towel? I look forward to seeing what others suggest!

I'm having the same dilemma. So far I've settled on "wet bikini bags" with their names on the back from americanbridal.com and then I think I'm going to buy them each something specific for them. Cubs flip flops for one of them, opal earrings for one and grass scented perfume for the third.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi ladies, I wanted to give my girls something personalized however something they could use again so I came up with three things to give my girls.... I have a $125.00 budget per girl.

1) Rollerball perfume's from sephora. they range from 30-40 dollars

2)Sephora gift certificate. In case they want to buy something before the trip. I'm loading it up with 50.00

3)Toiletries bag, not a tacky one. I pinned one but I can't find it now. Anyway - I'm going to put the perfume and gift certificate and some candy from bulk barn in the bag and then give them it before the trip for the girls who live here :)

I know the FI is giving his guys sunglasses.

So far these are the things I got for my girls:

1. White Havaianas flip flops

havaianas W

2. Pinch Provisions Mini Emergency kits which doubles as little make up bags

pinch provisions

3. I'm going to order them robes

4. I might also give them each a nice necklace from Tiffany's.  (My fiance's aunt works at Tiffany's so she can get us a good deal)

5.  Also paid their room deposits $50.00 each.

I'm treating them extra special because 3 of them are my sisters, 1 is my aunt and 1 is my best friend since 4th grade.  Making the trip to Cancun is asking a lot of them and they have been wonderful doing whatever they have to do to be there.  We are still working on the groomsmen not sure what my fiance wants to do for them I think we are purchasing their ties.

I would go for something other than Tiffany's. It's such a huge mark up for something silver. You can get a great piece of jewelry for the fraction of the cost.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
