Janet you sounded so relaxed and happy!!

We went to the Cabo Surf hotel the first day of our honeymoon to surf and I kept going around saying "I wonder how Janet is doing her setup, etc... Tim asked me if I was talking about my imaginary forum friends again, ha ha." The Cabo Surf hotel did look wonderful. It was just right for a small intimate wedding! Glad to see that it turned out great!

Yeah Janet!!!! Thanks so much for your review. I laughed a couple of times... you referenced being rather intoxicated. My FI it so excited since his intentions are to be drunk by the end of the evening. So glad you took the time to write... enjoy your honeymoon.

Yes, I lectured my FI like 50 times about how he can't get to drunk at the wedding, etc...and then I got PLASTERED. But in the most fun, adventurous way. After the reception we both put on our swimsuits and were jumping from the hot tub to the pool and back. I even busted up my kneecap (not that I remember it, I just have the bruise). It was like a college party revisited - SO FUN. But yeah, I kinda paid the price the next day :) But I still wouldn't change a thing, I had so much fun with my girlfriends and I think even the older crowd had a bit to drink (like my dad who was taking tequila shots with my friends!). Anyway....yes indeed it was so fun...

Don't worry though girls, today I laid on the beach for about 9 hours. I am fully in honeymoon mode now! Casa del Mar is like a serene paradise! I even thought about Natasha several times (and Andrew is silently like "If you don't shut up about "your other brides" I'm gonna kill you....")

Lisa Galvan can be found at fiestasloscabos@hotmail.com. Just make sure to ask if she actually does day-of coordinations still. I might have snagged her before she got really popular down here....But if I were you I would beg and plead -- she is worth every penny!!!!

I actually contacted Lisa today about being my day of coordinator. This might answer the question of whether or not she still does Day of WC for anyone interested.

Here is her reply:

Hi Jessalyn,

Thank you for contacting us. I'm so glad that Janet had such nice things to say, she was a joy to work with. Unfortunatley, it is our company policy not to take any day of requests further than 60 days before the actual date. Because we are so busy with full coordination requests, we just can't do it. Please feel free to contact us back at that time, or if you are interested in full coordination I would be glad to assist you.

Regards,
Lisa

OMG that cracked me up.... I think Tim was about to kill me too.
Let's see... I looked for Maria Elena at Pueblo Bonito Rose, I talked about you at Cabo Surf, agonized over the starfish for Natasha and whined that I didn't get to meet her, and talked about Rebecca everytime we drove past Dreams.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
