Veil Vs No Veil For Beach Wedding?

Recommended Posts

I am wearing a veil! My MIL is making it for me.  I will wear it for the ceremony and some pictures and I haven't decided about the reception yet.  I originally thought I wouldn't but as I tried on dresses and had talks with my mom and MIL, I decided I want to. It really is a personal decision though as to what you want. I will probably have a flower for my hair for when I take the veil off.

the same thing happened to me and I'm so glad I made that choice. Even if it blows in the wind I'll suck it up ahah. I'm looking for a hair accessory too but since I still don't know how my hair will look I'm at a total loss. Should i get a headband, a flower, a comb? such a tough choice because they're all beautiful!

I think it will fully depend on how you do your hair, what will suit it and what suits you!  Have you started looking at hairstyles? I know I will do an updo for sure as my hair doesnt hold curl that well, especially in wind. Dealing with the veil will be enough, so I'll keep the hair off my face and neck!

I know I need an updo. I just don't want to deal with the wind and my long hair just blowing everywhere haha. Plus it will get really hot so I prefer to just have it up and out of my mind :)

I HAVE to wear a veil. I couldn't see myself in a wedding dress without the veil. If the beach is windy, I will just secure it even better :)

I want to get some of those veil weights. I wanted to see if I could make them myself even because they're quite expensive but I don't know if the DIY ones will be heavy enough.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
