Veil Vs No Veil For Beach Wedding?

Recommended Posts

Please give your advice! Should I plan to wear a veil at our beach wedding or not? I am worried it will get a lil crazy with the wind at the ceremony on the beach but I do really like the pictures with the bride and groom kissing under the veil.

I'm wondering the same thing actually! You could always get a veil and just wear it for pictures afterwards?

@@kellymiller you read my mind! If you don't want it for the ceremony, then use it for photos! I think a veil can make for beautiful pictures, and a fun prop!

I was debating between this as well. A friend of mine gave me a veil she didn't end up wearing for her wedding, so my plan is to take it and wear it; however, if it ends up being too windy, I just won't wear it. I have a large flower I am going to wear in my hair with (or without the veil). I am hoping it won't be too windy though as I do love the look of a veil, but I don't want to be distracted by it throughout the ceremony.

yes they do, mostly in a silver finish with a silver stone, some pale shades but they are meant to be seen so they worked fine.

My mom really wanted me to wear a veil so I wore one and was actually happy I did.  It completed the look.  I took it off mid way through pictures for a little bit of a different look.

The weights really made a difference.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
