Hey everyone! First time posting, but avid lurker :b

I was just wondering if anyone has any information/photos especially on wedding locations at Riu Palace Mexico? I can find tons on RPRM, but none for Mexico (maybe because of the name?).

I'm trying to decide between the two. I've heard RPM has better beaches, and RPRM has a better pool, and both cost about the same... it's probably just going to come down to the options of wedding locations.

Any other helpful comparisons between the two?

Congrats and welcome to the site! You'll find tons of planning ideas and tips to help you with your DW!

Perhaps one of the agents can help you out with information on the resort you're looking at! Wright Travel is a first class destination wedding agency so I'm sure they've got info that will be useful!

You can also keep checking the forums and searching the resort you're interested in, as well as the Resort Reviews section to see if a past bride has reviewed the one you're looking at.

    Good luck and happy planning!

Hi! Try http://www.riu.com/en/weddings/ Put in your country and resort and all 2014 prices and info is listed. I didn't want to waste time with an online form so I actually directly called to speak with the wedding coordinator (number is listed on the side). She was so sweet and we laughed as I told her I was surrounded by snow in Chicago and was she surrounded by Palm trees :-) I am planning a site visit next week (in addition to dreams riviera Cancun and barcelo maya palace). Let me know if you have any questions!
Oh also, apparently riu Mexico was remodeled and everything is a terribly bright shade of purple now. Riu riviera maya is all white and newer. I was looking at pics on tripadvisor and i did not like the Mexico room decor at all.
