    I wasn't thrilled about the added fee for getting married on the beach, and many of the reasons listed about.....  the flower gardens and gazebos offer a beautiful setting then having pictures taken on the beach.

    I havent decided either. I've seen some beautiful gazebo weddings.

    I am going for the beach solely because that is what I envision in my mind.

    That being said I did consider a resort (Sandos Caracol in Playa Del Carmen) that has gazebos that are near the beach and show that as your backdrop. So you aren't right on it, but close enough.  I would have been happy with that as well.


    The more I plan, the more I am super happy with our choice of wedding resort and location there... private beach.

    I hope to get married under a gazebo with a view of the beach in the background :)
