I'm jumping in here too! Especially after seeing a topic with Brides saying they don't want to see posts from noobs!

I can't help that I just started out  Not exactly my first choice to be a "noob"! lol I guess they sometimes forget, they had to start from new too

I have never seen a thread that doesn't welcome active communication from new members... This is one of the most supportive and positive boards I have ever been a part of and the brides (old and new) love having the support of one another. It is frustrating to see 5 year old threads resurrected by members trying to get to 150 with just a "nice" or one word just to rack up the numbers... But seeing new members participate and actively becoming part of this community is awesome!!!

Doesn't matter if you are a "noob"... We are all here to plan an awesome celebration or support others who are in the middle of their process!

Congrats to ALL the brides here!

I also love when noobs ask lots of questions as it perks the board back up and gives us oldies something new to talk about :)

@@kmk2016 - I absolutely agree, posting one word would be more than frustrating, to old members and new! If you take a peek at my posts, you'll see I have a hard time keeping it under at least 4 paragraphs! LOL! I guess I have just misunderstood the thread I had seen (I had searched "noobs" to see how long I would be one! lol!) and didn't read through all the pages, since it was an older topic. Just was very clear  the title "Noobs posts - I dont want to see them" is what stood out for me. In any case, sorry if I have offended!

I am having a wonderful time contributing my thoughts/plans to the community and appreciate everyone who does the same!

Look forward to seeing you on the forums :)

Ahhh must have been an old post and that cranky person is long gone! It's great to see all the excitement continuing on these boards... Though it's killing my budget seeing all these awesome ideas that I keep wanting to add! Hahahhaaha.... Don't worry... I'm a Total chatterbox and 150 goes super fast!

No offence was taken... Just didn't want any new members thinking we are a bunch of meanies! It's the least snarky board ever... And the brides here are awesome!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
