I had a friend share with me another option to a sand ceremony - Unity Glass. I was considering doing a sand ceremony but couldn't figure out how I would seal it/get it home from DW without making a mess. It looks like Unity Glass could be an option. Yes it is pricey, but I think a unique idea.

If anyone has done this, I'd love to hear your story!

Really cool idea!! Very orginal, but I agree - more money than I'm willing to spend.

I sooo wanted to do this, but couldn't justify the cost when we got married. I love blown glass, so it was a perfect idea. I figured I might do it for our vow renewal or something - someday.

I heard that the sand can be a hassle getting through customs...

I was thinking maybe I'll just pour the sand out then redo it when we get home. I figure transporting it will cause the sand to all shift together anyway
