MORE CRAFTS...

I saw something like this on etsy for $30-$40.  Why pay that much? the pics on etsy even showed that they were flip flops from old navy? lol.  something like this will only be worn once.  I don't know how well they will hold up but I plan on bringing my sewing kit and glue gun down with me.  They should look cute in the getting ready pics with the girls all in their robes.

Mine are blue and the bridesmaids/MOB will have the black and white

yep...we are down to the wire! the days cant pass by fast enough.  I still feel like I have a lot to do.  Mainly bc I work so much so there's not a lot of time for the little things.  Plus its a pain with my computer.  I only have mircosoft works...so I have to go to someones house to make my printable items.  For some reason my files aren't converting. (kinda frustrating but not the end of the world)

May have to scratch the TTD session.  the dress I ordered was too big.  ordered another (same brand) just a smaller size & it was too small.  Ive ordered another dress in 2 sizes.  If it gets here in time we'll see what happens. While it would be nice to do the session I won't be disappointed if it doesn't happen.

All of my decorations have arrived and are actually packed! I wanted to see if everything would fit.  All the decorations plus most of the OOT bag stuff fit in one suitcase & is about 8lbs under the max weight :)

I'm soooo excited for this weekend!  I'm getting my hair and makeup done! Ive brought the veil home and have my jewel headband so I can see how everything will come together!  I've even decided to do a bridal boudoir session! Not sure how that's gonna go be I definitely don't do sexy well...but should be an experience & will make for a nice grooms gift ;)

3rd dress fitting on Tuesday! I'm falling in love with my dress all over again.  I was a little nervous at the first fitting.  Ive lost some weight and actually liked how the sample had fit so many months ago.  when I went for the 2nd fitting the dress was starting to get its shape back and the girl really puffed out the bottom.  It looked sooo much better (more like I remembered) I can't wait to see it next week.  They said the fit should be perfect :) the bustle will be added! and I love it bustled.  it takes a lot of the weight off the dress and makes it look even more poofy (lol...I always saw myself in a princess dress)

So time is ticking.  Theres work to be done but im not stressed. its not like im relying on anyone else to get things done.  Im doing it so I know it will be fine.

How's ur planning?  are you finished? close to finished? or not even close?  Your planning thread looks like you have a good handle on things.

Oh I am so happy to hear everything is coming along nicely for you! I can't wait to see photos from the wedding and your dress! I had my first fitting yesterday and my dress fit woohoo because I had gained weight and it was too small lol, I am getting the back take out a bit though to avoid the back fat! But I love my dress and can't wait to wear it down the aisle... although I am thinking maybe I won't wear it for the dinner... its so uncomfortable to sit in, but great for standing lol! Lucky you being under weight with your decor! I am hoping that mine won't be over, but I think we'll be ok as I gave some to my parents and my MIL.

What day do you leave?

We leave May 1st, but I am ready now... just waiting to get my dresses back and I'll be ready to leave! I have everything else done!

Wow! congrats on being ready to go! im jealous.  I work soooo much so its hard to get anything done.  This week I will have to bust my butt to get everything finished!

Today is packed and I'm excited and very nervous!!! My girlfriend is coloring and highlighting my hair (she's a stylist but has never done my hair)  after she's gonna blow it out, curl and I'm gonna put the headband and veil on to see it all come together.

Then I have to run over to the mall...im gonna do a quick eye makeup test.  The makeup trial I did the day of the bachelorette...didn't like it.  too silvery.  so try again.

Then....... I'm going to be a little daring. I've decided to do a bridal boudoir shoot. I'm very shy about my body so I don't know how this is gonna go.  But I thought, "hey, I only live once, its supposed to be an awesome experience, I've lost some weight, and it will make a nice grooms gift."  I have one pic in mind that I want to print, frame, and give him with a letter before the ceremony :)

Tuesday is my final fitting...then after we are going to pick up our rings!!!

We leave Wednesday the 9th!  EKKKKKKK so close!

@@talicea7812 finally! I've had time to read everything! You've done a wonderful job (even though I can't see any pics yet)????. I am totally starting one of these so I can keep my thoughts and plans straight lol. Also, love that you are involved in cheerleading, I too was a cheerleader and coached 4-6 grade for a year!

So much going on and so little time!!! I did a boudoir photo shoot!!! It was sooooo much fun! I did it last June because a friend of mine was doing one and her friend was a photographer so I had mine done the same day. It was soo much fun and I couldn't wait to give it to my FI so I gave it to him for his birthday as a pre-wedding gift lol! He loved it... but honestly I loved it too, it was such a fun, liberating experience, and it will be so nice to have those photos for after we have kids and get older. Its amazing how no matter your size a good photographer will make you look great!

Well, I did it.  Now I wait to see the results. It wasn't as bad as I thought.  I, being neurotic about how I would look on camera didn't eat much then had a glass of wine before doing it.  It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  The first few minutes were awkward but then it was fine.  I'm excited and nervous for the results...but like you said the photographers know how to make anyone look good :)

The boudoir shoot is a good gift idea, I will have to consider that. I went ahead and paid the $30 fee yesterday because I was far from 150 posts, lol. Love all your choices, so pretty!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
