So....any canadian brides out there just cringing? We put a deposit done on Royalton to save our date but now with the CAD dollar being so low...we are being quoted $1900 per person for our guests to travel there. It's ridiculous. We may have to switch our venue  :(

@ kdepass2 My guest were quoted 1733 for 7 days for June 1-8 ( getting married on the 4) I was told the price are cheaper is you look at least. a year from your wedding date which we did. Price are now around 2000 from Toronto. I know, it's quite expensive but most hotel are around that range in Jamaica. ( for 5 stars hotel)

We are getting married May 4. Arriving at the hotel May 1. Our guests are paying $1683 for 7 nights. We put our deposit down October of 2014. The dollar is awful but at this point my fiancé and I are just going with the flow. It's out of our control and we cant lose sleep or stress about it.

Definitely cringing... We were pretty much decided on the RWS for 2017 but now we are looking at the actual cost of the wedding and the conversion rates are SCARY!

 

We were quoted $1888 for 7 nights from Mtl for May 2017. Not bad i guess.

 

Does anyone know if other resort a la carte item prices are comparable to RWS?

Hello Ladies-

 

Wondering if there is any more info, photos or tips  you can share about this resort?? 

 

 Wedding is booked there for November this year

 

So far I have had more help from my travel agent than the wedding coordinator at the resort but am staying hopeful..

 

I want to do a private reception so I have questions I need to ask someone outside of the resort.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
