Hi @@Jvandong I only have the packages with pricing we received when we signed our contract last year, but now I'm getting sent higher prices with different/missing aspects to the package we had chosen, so I'm working on figuring it out. I'll send you the ones they are definitely using when it's all clear and straightened out  :)

Happy Planning!

Hi Everyone!  This thread has been incredibly helpful, so thank you!

We're also considering the Royalton for our wedding this year.  What's the hotel group room rate you all have been given?  We want to make sure the prices are not too outrageous for our guests.

@@FutureMrsGlover Still waiting to hear back, I know the weekends are super busy so I'm hoping Chandlyn gets back to me today to let me know that she can honor the 2014 pricing, otherwise our wedding will be without a lot of extras we were planning on!!

@@kenwash It definitely depends on how long people are staying, what kind of rooms, etc. It was a little pricey but I think it'll be an amazing time for everyone! Most of our guests are going from Thursday to Sunday (our wedding is on that Saturday).

@@Soon2beMrsJ.....I am glad to hear that.  I was about to panic!!!  :o  I am still figuring out some things.....since our family and friends have not paid their deposits, I am thinking it is going to be just me and my fiance'.  Many have gotten quotes but no confirmations as of yet. I might be spending less than budgeted!!!

@@Soon2beMrsJ.....you are right!!!  I actually heard from my travel agent that there is a lot more activity and inquiries from family and friends to book their trips...so I am breathing a bit easier.

You only have 60 days until your big day so I know you are really excited!!!  Don't forget to share pics when you get back!!!  :)

@FutureMrsGlover  I know, I can't believe it's only 2 months away!!!!!  I will definitely post a few pics when we get back.

Yay, I'm glad your family and friends are starting to book!  You have lots of time, a few of our guests are literally just booking now.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
