Hi Kailin!

 

Welcome to the forum! I sent you everything I have BUT I forgot to mention....

 

My fiance proposed back in March 2013. We were house hunting at the time so decided on November 2014 date for our wedding.

 

But because it was so far off we found the quotes we were getting for the all inclusive were too high SO we decided to wait until a year before the date literally November/December 2013....if you can wait I would suggest it! Because your date is so far off you might find prices are based on standard pricing from their books NOT up to date pricing - hope this makes sense!?

OMG you are so lucky to be able to go and visit the sites before choosing!

 

Anyways, I have a favor to ask - if it's no trouble at all - would you mind checking and taking pictures of the ballroom at the royalton and posting them on here?

 

I would and I'm sure some brides would appreciate it! I'm considering the ballroom (long story) but have no idea what it looks like!

 

Any pictures you can post would be great! Just to give us an idea!

 

Wish there was more on this resort already!

Hi Pam,

I will definitely post pictures.  I am so excited to see the resort.  My travel agent lives here in the States but she is originally from Jamaica.  She set up the visit as she felt it would be better for me to see it first hand.  I am also going to visit Secrets again, just so I have it fresh in my mind.

Hi everyone!

Just joined this site today and my fiancé and I are planning a DW in Jamaica in October 2015. The Royalton is at the top of my list along with the Riu Palace Tropical Bay and the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton. I too can't make up my mind and hope to read everyones responses and reviews to hopefully decide.

Can't wait to go through this process with all of you!!

Welcome aboard! Seems like RWS is a popular choice not just for weddings; my friend’s dad is going to be staying there in June, instead of staying with their family in Kingston. Sure inspires a lot of confidence in my choice, LOL!

Hi Brides! I'm knew to this site and I'm so indecisive about where my fiancé and I should have our wedding (June 2015). Strangely, neither of us have never been to Jamaica so it will be a new experience for the both of us. I look forward to sharing experiences with you all. Congrats!

Fingers crossed the Royalton gets back to me with good news :) I considered the Iberostar Rose Hall, Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton and the Gran Bahia before deciding on the Royalton. I love the smaller more intimate feel of this resort. I hope they have all the kinks worked out by next year. The reviews seem to be getting better lately!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
