I am just working on finishing up the last few projects I have been working on for a while.. finally got the Mr on board with working on wedding stuff every night so Im not up allll night the night before we leave - which is in 13 days!    I made a to do list the other day and was pleasantly surprised with how little there was on it - for dyi projects anyways.  Of course there are some other things I need to focus on asap or they aren't going to get done.... I really think I want a dress to change into for the after party but i haven't found one I like :(    

 

My goal is to have everything done by the 10th - my bachelorette party is on the 11th which means the 12th might be a tired day lol   then off we go!   

 

Man I can't wait for vacation! lol

 

oh yeah I had my first wedding nightmare last night.......   everything I mean EVERYTHING was a shit show - starting with the bright yellow plastic table clothes on my reception tables - and when I complained... they changed them to cloth ones .... with balloons and rocking horses on them :(       hahahaha 

 

 

Sounds like everything is moving right along for you!  Thats great that your shower was so nice for you!!   

 

That stinks about people not being able to come anymore.. hopefully your grandparents will be able to end up making it!  That stinks about your friend but at least they were smart enough to know maybe it wasn't a good idea he went.  That could of been messy.

Oh my gosh Sat YAY!!!  15 days YAY???  lol

 

I did kind of start to pack a while ago..... I put all my OOT bag stuff in a suitcase to see if I could get it to fit.... not everything did so I had to decided how bad I wanted some stuff hahaha

Then I took all the vacation clothes I have purchased over the last two years (yes I have been planning this thing that long) I put them in piles - MUST TAKE - Would Like To Take - probably could go without -   I then tried to pack all the MUST takes incredibly  they all fit in one suitcase.  I need to go through stuff again though... I think that is my plan for today!

Kimberly...5 more days until you leave! So excited for you! We leave in 14!

Finally decided on a photographer!! So now I can sit back and relax...or I guess I should try to get the grooms/groomsmen attire and bridesmaid attire in order!!

We leave in 10 days!!! How did time fly by already?!

 

I had my bachelorette this last weekend...it was so much fun!! And a little blurry! Lo

 

I am feeling like I will never get everything done and ready at this point! Spent the day crafting yesterday but had to stop when I ran out of the only glue that works....so back to michaels I go today!

 

I am going to give my sisters their bridesmaid gifts before we leave so I don't have carry more gifts with us. It sucks since we won't be all together at the same time to do it though. Trying to sort out receipts for everything is making me crazy!! The ones I am bringing are for the gifts, the tumblers we are giving out and for some of the decorations. Do I need to bring anymore??

 

How excited is everyone?!!!

So excited! We actually hand delivered or mailed out all of the OOT bags so I don't have to pack all of that! Sent it off with a cute little note about helping them start packing...Saved me an extra suitcase! I am just taking receipts for the favors and linens and things that I have multiples of. I hope that works!

I thought that would work, but we are giving out travel mugs and I don't want people to forget them...and more than half live across the country or around the world....so I am going to give out a bunch at the airport for people to put in their own carry on...the rest we have to lug with us!

I would love to show you a planning journal....however, I am not nearly as organized as all of you ladies!! I will be lucky to get everything done and packed! I will try to take pictures though and post something!! FI and I are just spending the evening on the couch watching hockey after having breakfast for dinner :) no wedding talk tonight!!

I was thinking about you yesterday!! Yay! 4 days will come so quick. Glad you got it all packed and can't wait to hear all about it when you get back. Did they love the jewelry? I think it's gorgeous.

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
