You already have everything packed?? Wow! I am so impressed! My FI just keeps saying, "how are we ever going to pack all this?!"

Lucky for him, he will probably be working out of town right before we leave so it will be me who has to figure out how. To pack everything!!

We requested our RSVP for August 15, which is this Friday, and right now I am still waiting for 54 RSVPs! Sheesh!! Our final payments are due August 19.

Dang - my rsvp date was last November and my book by date was February LOL  there is NO way I could have waiting until August to know who was coming - which actually wouldn't have a problem because everyone we invited is coming and I knew they would but still!  Id be going crazy right now!!!

Our booking date with the travel agent was last November to out down the deposits...but final payment is due August 19. We have had a couple people drop out after putting down their deposits. And then a whole lot of people have booked on their own so i am stuck waiting for their actual RSVP!

  • 3 weeks later...

So I think I have our final numbers! 68 adults and 13 kids! Hopefully this is it!!

We just figured out our ceremony playlist. No traditional wedding songs...just music we both like.

I am going to take my dress in for alterations tomorrow. My almost SIL is making my earrings and a bracelet.

Trying to find earrings and bracelets for my three bridesmaids....I can't decide! What has everyone gotten?

Now I guess I better get on the seating plan, the fan programs and escort cards! I have all the supplies to make them, but just have to actually do them!

What does everyone else have to do still?

I feel like I have been searching forever on etsy but either the shipping is crazy or the prices are more than I want to spend! But I will continue to search!

Sorry I just happened across this and I feel like I'm barging in. David's bridal has cheaper stuff as do a lot of the wedding favor sites. I can't tell as I'm on my phone but due to your shipping comment you must be in Canada. There is a few favor stores online that are in Canada and they have nice ideas too. What about a clothing/department store? Or eBay?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
