Congrats to your fiancé! Where are you moving to? I hate the packing part so good luck to you!

I feel like I'm in a good place with planning. I'm making ribbon chair covers and I only have a few left to make. Other than that I think I'm just down to finalizing the small details.

We need to decide if we are going to have a DJ or not.

Are you ladies using a DJ?

We are moving from MA to ME ... so not far but still moving = blah

lol

I am not having a DJ there will only be 22 people including us --- and with my crowd I think it will be odd LOL

There is no night club at my resort but there are 2 sister resorts on the island so my plan is to head to one of those after the dinner reception and we can dance the night away there :)    oh also I am making a play list to be played during dinner.....  I actually need 2 play list atleast 2 hours each... ANY SUGGESTIONS  ARE WELCOMED :)  haha

Alright October Ladies.....

For those of you doing and ARH --- when are you doing it?

I think we are going to get a DJ. Although I would live to save the added cost, I don't want to have to deal with an iPod and someone to control it. As of right now, we have 65 adults and 9 kids booked so with the big numbers, I think we need to spend the extra for the DJ.

Yeah If we were going to have that many guests I would definitely want a DJ. We are only going to be around 20 so it doesn't seem necessary but I want to make sure my guests have Fun!

We are doing our ARH on November 8th. Super quickly!

I wanted it to be close to the date an we are crazy busy at work around the thanksgiving and Christmas holidays so it had to be early November. It's a bit crazy planning both!

What's your plan?

I'm torn - part of me just wants to do it and get it over with but we don't come back until Nov 3rd - can't do it the next weekend then it is the holidays - then winter - so I am thinking Spring... I like the idea of that except I can't decide if it is too far apart.   I think I have decided that it just is going to be that way and go with April!  I want people that are going to the DW to be able to attend and it would be more traveling for them so I want to give them some time also.

108 more days til I marry my best friend!! Getting so excited!

Feeling like I have most things done now too! Rings, clothing, favours all done! Need to get a bustle put in my dress, and find jewelry and shoes still. I have a few things I want to make and I still need to sort out table decor. What's everyone else doing for their tables? I would love flowers, but with at least ten tables I don't want to pay for it!! I'm thinking tea lights and candles over the burlap and lace table runners I bought.

ekk - 108 days! so exciting and crazy!!

You just made me feel like I have sooooo many things to do lol

I am in the midst of trying to nail down table decor.  I need to come up with two different dinner's decor and keep getting distracted with one while trying to think of the other LOL  I am not really doing any flowers either - I have in my head what I want for each event but I can't seem to focus *sigh* lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
