Any info about restaurant Casa del Agua in PDC?

Recommended Posts

I took pictures of the food we ordered. Laura the groups manager has also sent me the information/pricing on the menu, cocktail hour appetizers and drinks. Let me know if you are interested and I can forward them. Thanks.

I will love to hear about all your reception experience at this restaurant!!! Cheers!!!

Here are the items we ordered at dinner and EVERYTHING TASTES GOOD:

1. Crusty Scallops - It is one big giant scallop perfectly cooked and the presentation sure makes a great impression on both of us.

2. Salmon and Fish Carpaccio - If you like lox, you will enjoy this appetizer too!

3. Fish Filet au Mediterranean Vinaigrette - The grouper is so fresh and and again the presentation is awesome!

4. Roquefort Steak - The best steak we had in PDC! Definitely a crowd pleaser. :)

5. Tiramisu - If you are a tiramisu lover, this won't let you down for sure!

6. Tapioca - Great presentation with interesting/refreshing texture/color/flavor. If you are looking for something different, this will be a good wild card.

I am so glad to hear the food is amazing and that everyone is happy with the service, ambiance etc.

I have been trying to convince my fiance to have our reception there for the past month. I'm hoping that once we get down there for our site tour and eat at the restaurant that he will agree with me!

I would love to see the pictures of the meals as well. Happy wedding to all :)

I'm glad I found this thread! Although I'm going to have my ceremony at Ceiba del Mar, I'm thinking we'll have our reception here. I've gotten through the first round of emails with them and am starting on round 2. I did ask for pictures of where the reception would take place, haven't gotten that yet. If you want some honest reviews, go to www.chowhound.com. It's a foodie forum board that I live and die by. They seem to like it on there.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
