Any info about restaurant Casa del Agua in PDC?

Hi there,

 

I have been thinking about leaving the resort for a reception dinner at a restaurant in town... Does anyone know if you go to a restaurant, would it be private? Would there be music (maybe a dj or our own Ipod system)? I'm trying to get an idea of what it would all cost for the food/booze and a dj for some dancing (can you dance at the restaurant?)

 

I'm pretty clueless at all this - I've just started looking into it.

The only downside to this reception venue is the restaurant does not have space for a dance floor or DJ. There is live Music Friday night (easy listening) and you can go dancing at the clubs nearby after dinner.

I am having my wedding dinner there, I thought the place had a nice ambience and I really like their menu. There were a few remarks about the restaurant on my wedding coordinator's website (Playa del Carmen Caribbean Blue Weddings Home Page , testimonial section) that were positive, but aside from that haven't seen anything else besides general restaurant reviews that are all good.

I'll definitely give my review after our wedding next month!!!
