Any past brides that can provide pics of set ups? flowers? etc?

The pics on the website are terrible!

@@talicea7812 - If they allow me to do so, I'll take pics next week & share them with you when I get back. I'm going to the Bride's Dress Rehearsal which I believe is sponsored by Lomas and from the youtube I saw they have sample set ups there.

Yes im getting married at Azul however none of the pre-set options work for me.  My theme is peacock :)

@girlinthecity

I wish I had had the opportunity to do the dress rehearsal.  I guess it will be a nice surprise when I get there :)

My fiance was against it, not me! :) He's the "numbers" guy and didn't see it making sense budget wise & in general. I disagreed & ultimately won out.  The one thing I'm NOT looking forward to is the guest list battle. My list is way longer than his and he's "warning" me about making cuts. We'll see about that  :ph34r:

when u say making cuts...how many if you could invite all would u be inviting?

Like I mentioned b4 I don't have a lot of friends.  My fiancé is another story.  He's everyone's best friend :) its part of the reason we did destination...to help cut numbers.  if we were at home he would have invited like 200ppl!   For at home he was having trouble narrowing it down to 120!

In the end we invited 80.   At this point we'll be lucky to have 20 going. I think Azul is pretty but I wish I spent more time researching b4 booking.  My travel agent friend recommended Azul and palace & since Azul was a lil cheaper I just went for it. Azul is def on the pricier side of things. and since its not in cancun...im worried about things to do. when I stayed at dreams we were right on the main strip...it was a good location.

@@girlinthecity97 Ohh I would love to hear how your visit goes with Lomas! When our wedding dates gets closer I'll have to deal with them and I like things perfect :)

@@talicea7812 - I saw you mentioned not having much to do. Playa del Carmen is 10 min away. I've been before. Its pretty with cobblestone streets with shops, restaurants and bars (Senor Frogs & Coco Bongo is there) your guests can also take a ferry right out of Playa del Carmen over to Cozumel for the day/night.

Just thought I'd share.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
