So ladies... I have found the hotel I love for our destination wedding, The Azul Sensatori and I received pricing today... Which is extremely reasonable!! BUT the price is only guaranteed till February 10th which is when we have to put down a non definable deposit and then the guests have 90 days till they have to put down a deposit too.

 

The thing that is making me a little hesitant is that our wedding isn't till April 2015! Lol.

 

I want to send out the full invitation with all the booking information instead of save the dates seeing as I already know the details.

 

Am I jumping the gun?

I booked my wedding there for Nov29th 2014 and they asked for a deposit as well. It's simply to secure the rooms and the rate. If you need more time to make sure this is the hotel u want, I would ask for a later date for the deposit (1 year seems really early). If ur certain it's the hotel u want (isn't it beautiful!???:)) I would just put the deposit down. They told me that the deposit can be applied to your wedding once your guests book the rooms and pay (unless ur paying for all the rooms). I don't know about the second payment ur referring to...hmmmm.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
