Happy Happy Planning Ladies!

It's such an exciting time. I pretty much have everything booked, deposits paid, so now all I have to do is decide on decor and dresses and save for the final payments. We are getting married next May and our TA said flights will become available about 11 months out but get a little cheaper around 10 months out. I want to have my rooms (wedding resort and honeymoon resort) paid off by the time flights are available.

Enjoy!

Congrats everyone! We are getting married in May 2015 in Negril Jamaica! So excited. We have our resort booked, but my understanding is that flight info won't be available until June or July. Aaahhh I hate waiting as its harder for people to plan when we don't have all the prices!

I am also a June 2015 bride, we are looking at Dreams Los Cabo, Dreams La Romana or Sunscape Curaco. The La Romana looks really as though the other two, I am awaiting information from the TA and depending on the package price, kids club, babysitting, etc. We will plan according.

Planning for your special day seems easy when you get started but there are a lot of small details/decisions that arise along the way. It's not impossible though. Don't get stressed out and remember it's really about becoming a union with your partner. The rest is minor stuff.

Congrats & good luck planning, ladies!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
