Hi girls! Do any of you recently married folks have any pictures from your wedding at Azul Fives? I'm dying to see some real pictures. I'm sort of at a hiatus with the planning because I'm not certain how many people are coming so I can't do much else until I know that. Hope everyone's planning is going well!

@, here are our ceremony and reception photos. Both were amazing, but the sky deck was a bit windy. This didn't bother me much, but I can see how some might be annoyed by it. Still working on a complete review with more photos, will post soon. post-277336-140097051352_thumb.jpgpost-277336-140097053552_thumb.jpg

You know after you paid the $200 to reserve your date how it takes you to like a profile of your wedding. I remember my usename but I don't remember ever picking a password. Did anyone else have this problem? I also accidentally closed the screen before I could change the password :(

Can someone tell me what the average cost of the DJ was for a 4 hour reception?

If you go to the weddingsbylomas website all your pricing is there for approved Karisma vendors. Both approved DJ options are listed. There are potentially cheaper DJs outside that list but remember you need to add $800 outside vendor fee for this option.

Hey Azul Fives Brides! Azul Fives is in my top pics for spring 2015 wedding but am a bit Leary of lomas, their outrageous outside vendors fees and such. I like to hear all the clever ways brides are getting around this! I read on one if the Azul Beach forums that a bride had all of her flowers done from an outside vendor and just had them deliver them to the gate and her family collected them. She said she saved a ton of money on the flowers which turned out great and didn't have to pay the bogus outside vendor fee! Anyone else considered doing this??? Flowers are a big thing for me but don't want to pay an arm and a leg....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
