Hi Ladies,

Im just starting my wedding planning for January 2015 and I have my eye on Azul Fives. I just received the wedding package, and was wondering if there is an extra cost to having the dinner reception on the zky deck/beach?

I am planning to do the sky deck for the ceremony/cocktail hour.

Thanks Ladies!

Happy planning

I don't know to be honest. I haven't found many people who've gotten married there who are still on the boards. :( If I hear, I'll let you know b/c I did just book our wedding! I know there is a $1700 fee for getting married on the sky deck, but I don't know about the Zky bar which is apparently one floor below. How many people are you expecting?

@@cgcabezas I'm working with Lynda Gomez and she has been amazing. I actually hated my initial wedding coordinator lol and asked to be switched to her since she helped answer some questions for me before we booked - she's great!

Let me know if you have any questions :)

Hi ladies! Hope your wedding planning is going well! I have a few questions for y'all...

1) About how many are you all expecting at your wedding?

2) Are you having a rehearsal dinner and if so, is it private, where is it and how much are they charging you?

3) Are they charging you all $15/chairs after they include the 24 chairs in the packages?

Thanks ladies!!

I'm having a very small group.  Only 23...so I'm lucky and don't have to worry about the extra chairs.  Even if they put out all 24 there will be open seats bc of the bridal party standing with us.

I am supposed to have a rehearsal, however my coordinator says she can not guarantee availability... we have to wait until we are on the resort.

Since I'm having a private reception for the wedding day...we are using our included dinner reservation at the blue restaurant (Azul beach) for the rehearsal dinner.  It will cover us for up to 25 ppl so it works out that everyone can attend

@khmciver

We are expecting around 45-50 guests. We are having our ceremony on the Sky Deck, cocktail hour on the Zky Terrace and a garden reception.

The rehearsal dinner is included in the Always & Forever package which everyone starts with. That includes 40 guests. Its a semi private event in the Flavours restaurant.

We are not going with one of the packages. I'm going to pick all the items and details individually a la carte. I was told white garden chairs are provided. You have the option to have them uncovered or with white covers and white bows.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

You changed your wedding coordinator with Karisma and asked for someone else, right? How'd you do that? I have Andrea as my coordinator right now and she doesn't seem to know anything. Our group is too big for basically everything and I'm in panic mode so I need someone who knows what she's talking about. :)

Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
