call me crazy but I really like this idea - the kits are like $15.00 and that would be great if you could make your centerpieces and not have to spend a ton on flowers! I think I am going to order one...Sarah are you ordereding one too - if so which one so that we can get different ones and try 2 out?

Hey Sarah- this looks so cool doesn't it? I think I want to order the giant magnolia kit (did you notice that was what the bride carried as her bouquet on that know slideshow?) because I'm thinking they would be really cool centerpieces. Also, I want to order the fringe paper kit just because they look so cool.

I'm thinking that we may be able to use them as a pattern and just buy the paper to keep making multiples instead of orderig a kit for every centerpiece we need? What are your thoughts?

I am going to order this one and try it out. I think the kit just teaches you how to make the flowers and then you can buy your own paper and make as many as you want. THIS IS EXCITING! Order your kit too and we will see how us "Sarah's" do! Click the image to open in full size.

I really like that one too.
Sounds like a good plan! I'm off to work now, so I'll order mine tomorrow...

OK I couldn't wait....I saw some tissue paper in my grocery store and had to buy some. They didn't have a wide variety of colors but here is what I was able to do on my first try. I was going for a "peony" look. The first flower took me 2 hours because I got the bright idea that each petal had to be attached individually!sad.gif After that one I was able to do 3 in about 1 hour. I think with thi spractice definitely makes perfect> I also think that using several shades of the same color will make for a more "realistic" look. Let me know what you think!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
