I was thinking about doing white calla lilies and i liked the amount you had, and I also liked the color. I'm so torn on what to do with flowers. If you don't mind can you give me an estimate on how much your flowers were.
I was debating between either the parasols or the fans. I still can't decide. I loved the ribbon on yours though. Do you have any thought on which one to go with? Thanks
There are 2 types of calla lilies available in Cabo. National or imported. The difference is in the size. The national are a bit skinnier and have thicker stems. That means that you can't have as many in a bunch as you could in an imported bouquet. The cost is a big difference also. The bouquet of the imported was quoted at $200. My bouquet was national callas for $115.

After I got the explanation above, I thought my bouquet was going to be really thin, but it was actually really full and I thought just the right size for a bridal bouquet. So I would recommend saving money and going for the national calla lilies. Oh, my calla lilies were actually painted. The natural pink calla lilies were not strong enough of a color for me, so I got them painted to that deep color.

Parasol or fans.... well, it depends. I got fans for every seat (men and women), not sure if you would provide parasols for the men also. Also, depending of the amount you want to carry with you to Cabo. The fans packed pretty flat and were super light. I would think Parasols would take a considerable amt of suitcase space.

Great to know about the lilies! I had no clue! I was wondering how yours were so pink! I loved them! I will definelty do the national lilies that seems to be a waste of money to me!

I like your thought on the fan's! I will put them at every seat! We are getting married at 6:30 so it is later in the day but i was still worried about people being warm. I will go on the website and check them out. Did you attach your programs to the fans? I saw that before and it looked cute but maybe annoying for people.

I was hoping for cooler weather during the ceremony, but it was really hot... It did not cool down until the sun went down. (At least this past week.)

I didn't attach the program. I've seen some examples of that, and it did look cute. After tying the stupid ribbon for hours on the fans, I did not even want to look at them again, much less do more work with them. I'm pretty crafty, yet somehow the ribbon tying took me forever...

Hey!!
I saw your pics, and you are right.... I guess great minds think alike!
I absolutely loved your hairstyle. It looked like you effortlessly put it up. I remember your sample hairstyle pics you put up a few months back and you duplicated the look beautifully.

Tammy, what slideshow program do you have? I might tackle making my own fancy slideshow with more pics, but have no idea what program to purchase. I saw KarlaV's link to the slideshow software, not sure if that was the one you use.

Let me know, that way I can just create my own.

use karlav's...it is probably sooo much better...it is what the pros use and fun to have (if/when you have kids to make their slideshows).

Karla,

All of your pictures are amazing!! Thanks for sharing all of your information. I had some of the same questions as the others. I really loved your hair. I am still debating on veil or no veil and I really like how yours looked! The flowers in the hair is a must for me. I will take a look at the website you posted.

WOW!! Stunning pics!! This is why I LOVE beach weddings!! Can't get more beautiful than that! I want to do the sparklers too...did the place provide/offer them or did you have to bring them? I can't get my WC to answer any of my questions. sad.gif I saw this amazing picture of a couple making a heart with their sparklers with them in the middle...and that is when I decided I want them!! It was awesome!

You are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing all the pics!

    • Hi Everyone, So, I was cleaning out my closet and realized that I never sold off my extra wedding OOT bag stuff from our wonderful DW.   46 Daily Spanish for Dummies 30 Pool colored OOT fabric bags - approximately 13in x 13in. They lay flat.  I used them for our wedding and they were perfect for everything we needed to fit in each bag. There’s a slight shade variation in the group; I’m guessing some were cut from a different bolt of fabric.  They are also a little wrinkled from storage and will probably be wrinkled from shipping. I have three additional ones, but they somehow got something on them (likely toddler related). If needed, I can try to wash it out and send those as well.
    • I’m getting married in six months to my foreign girlfriend. I was advised by a friend that one of the things I need to do before saying I do is to get a prenuptial agreement. Basically it’s supposed to protect my assets and properties in case my relationship with my future wife goes down the drain. I don’t know though if this is an acceptable practice when marrying Kiev ladies. I don’t want to do it if it would be insulting on her end. I need advice on this. Please help me.
    • So we are currently looking for an all inclusive resort for the wedding. We have 60 guests and found all the Dreams resorts as options and all of them gave us a quote and discounted price since it’s off season etc. Resorts in Punta Canta gave us a reasonable price, Dominicus gave us a really good deal then La Romana Resort and Spa gave us their regular price and so hard to negotiate. Will someone tell us how special is this resort that they won’t give us a good discount when all my guests are staying in their resort for 5-8 days. We are bringing $$$ in their resort and not give us a discount?  What is so special with this resort?  Can somebody recommend a beautiful resort?
