Those are asolutely beautiful pictures. You looked amazing and everything looked perfect. Congratulations!!!! BTW, I love the suit that your husband was wearing, I can totally picture my FH in something like that. Was he too hot in it? Was it a linen suit? Just curious.

Thanks,

Julie

Gorgeous!! Absolutely gorgeous! I am SO extra excited for my friends wedding now!!

And I love how you had the men in the wedding party dressed. We were just talking about all that last night...should they wear suits, just shirts etc? She was worried about everyone looking too casual and feeling out of place in her dress...but I think you picked the perfect look. I can't wait for her to see your pics!

I am so sorry! I just saw these questions!

The bridal flowers are calla lilies. The bridesmaid bouquets are calla lilies and roses.

It was awesome!

You are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing all the pics!

My wedding planner got the sparklers for me. Who is your wedding planner? I was having a hard time getting answers from mine regarding sparklers also, and I was going to get them from Maye, one of the coordinators in the forum. That can be your alternative if your wedding planner is unresponsive.

It is a linen/cotton blend suit from Liz Claiborne, we got it at Macys. The shirt is 100% linen, also Liz Claiborne. It was HOT, no matter what he wore. But yes, he was really hot when he was wearing the jacket. The groomsmen were also hot, and they were just wearing the shirt. I really don't think there's any way to avoid it when it's about 85-90 degrees though.

We were worried about the groomsmen attire also. My advice to your friend is just to get all the guys to wear the exact same shirt and pants. I think that made a difference in the overall look. Or at least to me and my hubby... who probably are the only ones that noticed!

Puerto Vallarta, duh!!! I keep forgetting this is not Cabo only anymore! Sorry about that!

I got the medium sparklers for $2.00 each. There were longer ones for $2.50 each.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
