2015 Iberostar Rose Hall Suite Bride

Recommended Posts

@@TPryor Congratulations! My big day is 8/24. Actually, I purchased linens today for up my table/centerpiece. I'm going to do a small centerpiece for each table of flowers and rose petals and bling. Probably, the only thing that worries me is getting the vases there. I'm thinking it could be quite heavy but everything else should be pretty simple to pack. I am taking everything on my own. I didn't think of sending it in advance I'm too afraid of losing everything.... Additionally I may not bring anything back, I'm thinking I'll leave it there for another bride if needed.

We are kind of doing a hybrid - We ordered 4 floral centerpieces and then we're bringing vases for the other 4 tables. We liked the look of the tall fluted vases with tropical flowers, but it would totally bust the budget to do it for all 8 tables! Well, it still is kind of busting the budget, but that is sort of how it goes.

For the other tables we're bringing vases wrapped with burlap and a starfish tied on with a royal blue ribbon. Then we'll have framed table numbers (names actually, we are naming our tables) and some votive candles. That is about it! I'll pack the 4 vases and carry those on so they don't get roughed around with the baggage.

HI Ladies!!

I will be getting married at the suites on Oct.17...yeaaa!!! and I'm super overwhelmed with EVERYTHING.... Is anyone making their own centerpieces? if so, how are you getting it down there?

@@TPryor I'm using Godfrey Guy for center pieces. linen, flowers etc. He's super reasonable and great at what he does from what I can see. He works with any budget. I was going to bring everything myself and then I stumbled across his name from another blog

95 days to go....I FINALLY started working out. I ordered a new workout program 21day fix

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
