@@budgetbride2015 I haven't started buying stuff for them yet but I've gotten a lot of ideas on here. Apparently Dollar Tree is a gold mine! People have said they have tumblers and bags there as well!

Good tips thanks!!!!

Ok ladies who did u guys contact for group rates and incentives? I am working with a travel agent but from my understanding you set up you group rate agreement and incentives through the resort. But i called reservations they said i needed to call the WC. When i emailed Loreto (WC manager) He told me to contact hotel or TA because they don't handle group rates......so annoyed

My travel agent is handling the group booking/rates for me! The resort itself doesn't do any room reservations, except for local Jamaicans. So once we secured the wedding date the TA turned me over to the wedding coordinator and stepped out of that part (unless I need her) and she went ahead with the group booking through Iberostar.

@@budgetbride2015 only a travel agent can get the group rate for you. The hotel only deals with the local Jamaicans when it comes to reservations.

And for group rates for the air-flights you have to contact the airline directly. And in order to get the discount 10 or more ppl must fly on the same flight at the same time coming and going.

Yea I have a TA handling all of the travel as well, so happy I went that route! Imagine the headache trying to coordinate everyone's travel! I doubt I'll have 10+ people on the same flight but if there is I think my TA would try to get group rates for them.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
