2015 Iberostar Rose Hall Suite Bride

Recommended Posts

Unfortunately prices won't be up until around nov. But last summer our tickets were only $251. So since October isn't peak season I'm hoping it will be a bit cheaper

Yes definitely, I'm hoping the rates are good. Good thing about my TA also is the guests can just put down a deposit to hold the price for the package and just have to pay the remainder 50 days prior to the date.

Hi everyone!!!

Thanks @@helenk for telling me about this thread. My date is August 8, 2015!!!!!

That's all I got. I'm having a bridal reveal party in 3 weeks I'll hand out a few of my save the dates and will have them all mailed by the first week in August.

Heads up just from reading the other threads the coordinators are usually slow to get back to you so don't stressed out. Loreto is pretty good but he's the manager for the WCs .

I'm still working on booking a photographer and video. Really considering bringing a team from here.

Flowers I'm either going to make my own or work with an outside vendor. The florist the hotel works with seems pretty pricey. I know the contract states we can't use an outside florist but I've read where previous brides have with no problem (unless this is a new rule)

Dj I'm going to go with resort

Reception I'm hoping to have a private one but that depends on the guests count (I only like calabash or aunt Ruby's....70 Or more ppl)

Hosting a welcome party with a fire dance the night before

If I have to have a semi private reception then we'll do dancing and cocktails with a dj on the beach.

Coral and teal are pretty colors you can incorporate them in many ways....tie chairs, flowers for the ceremony, you can bring candles, vases or water beads

@@budgetbride2015 no problem! I've always gotten a response from. Loreto within 2 days. When my TA emails the response tends to be quicker ;)

we booked Misha Earle! Super excited, her photos are gorgeous and prices are reasonable. And she covers the vendors fees!

Prob gonna stick with the resort florist and DJ if we need one.

Still undecided about private reception. Renting out the restaurant plus adding the cost of DJ and having to bring extra decor is a lot of extra money we didn't want to spend. Plus we don't know if we'll meet the guest minimum for that.

There's an option to rent out the Mango Walk Disco for 2 hrs before it opens to the public and the fee includes the DJ and open bar! I just need to find out if there's any seating in there....it'll be awkward to just have everyone standing around.

I wish I could post pics of ideas I've found for chair decor but I don't think I've met the post minimum for that yet :(

You'll have to tell us how your wedding is since you're before us!

What if you did a semi private dinner (FREE) And rented the disco for after dinner reception?

We meet with photographer here this week my fiance prefers someone we know (I don't know why he thinks he should have an opinion. ..Lol)

@@jennifernoel1 yea I'm not paying for an open bar! If we do a welcome party I'm going to just make reservations at one of the restaurants or something.

I'm going to just use the cake that is included in the package. We're on a budget so we're trying to maximize what comes with the package and with what we absolutely can't live without.

The only additional cost so far is the photographer and whatever I spend on decor I bring and the stuff for the OOT bags.

@@jennifernoel1 Yea I am with you on that. But I'm happy with the one we booked, her photos are gorgeous and we're getting a lot for the cost comparable to other photogs in JA.

Great thread ladies. I am getting married this October at IBRHS. So far the email responses between the resort are usually within 48hours. They are very informative.

We are getting married in the lobby location overseeing the resort. Our guest list as of yesterday is 25. We are hoping to have 40 so we can have a private reception. I have reservations about a semi private reception because it is only dinner and we would have to pay extra for a space. I think renting a tent on the beach and the dinner cost is ridiculous (especially because we are at an all inclusive). We are still seeking a photographer (but FYI sungold photography does beautiful work unfortunately they are booked on our date). I will return after the wedding to update and make reviews on my own experience.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
