Barcelo Maya Tropical Brides- 2014

Recommended Posts

Looking for some Barceló Maya Tropical brides. There are tons of palace brides on here, but im looking for someone who got married at the tropical/colonial recently.

My wedding is Oct 29, 2014.

I am in process of selecting the Mint Breeze package and seeing if they will upgrade us to the beach grill for reception instead of the banquet hall.

I am also getting married in October 2014 at the Barcelo Maya Tropical! And I also live in Van! I hired a wedding planner so I'm hoping she helps me pick the right package etc.

I've tried to find a 2014 price list for the extras but can't seem to. I'll prob get in once I meet with the wedding planner.

We just sent out the save the dates a month ago and are slowly getting ppl booked. It's so nerve racking!

How did you decide on the mint package?

BRIDES - I hope I can be of some help to you all. I am getting married at Barcelo Maya Tropical on Saturday August 9, 2014. Barcelo provides you with a wedding coordinater at no charge. She will be happy to email you the price listings email - weddings6@barcelomaya.com

you will have to master the art of patience since they do take a few days to get back to your emails. I have become used to it over the last few months. The wedding planner will email you pictures of actual weddings at Barcelo Maya resorts so fear not!!!! Also, feel free to email them pictures that you find along the way, PINTEREST PINTEREST PINTEREST!!!!,  they are open to making your day just how you want it or as close as they can get it for you.

Barcelo uses Ocean Photo Studio as there exclusive photograhper - if you choose to not use them you will have to pay a fee to bring an outside company on site for the day.

Bride, Jackie

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
