Scouting Trip Tips?! Cancan, Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen

Recommended Posts

Hello my fellow destination brides! We are planning a resort scouting trip for Feb 2014 and would love some tips. We plan to stay at Paradisus Playa del Carmen and want to check out Dreams Riviera Maya, Beach Palace, Azul Sensatori, and the Hard Rock. We are looking for a family friendly all-inclusive resort, guest budget $1000-$1300 with flight (from NY) and accommodations. We want the resort to be beautiful with a lot of activities fior guests to choose from. Do our resort options sound ok? Any you might add or delete? I am open to any and all suggestions! THANKS

Absolutely, check out NOW Sapphire. Our daughters wedding with 48 guests were there in Oct and it was better than we ever imagined the week could be! We had 17 children and I had all the same requirements with family flying in from NY, CA, CO, & WA. This resort has a beautiful beach with Patio rooms opening right off of the beach, several locations to choose for your wedding site, great kids club and no charge for children! I did a review titled "review of my daughters wedding" under Riveira Maya, plus there are a couple of good recent reviews under The NOWSapphire, formerlly Pardissus... Everyone who came thanked us for picking this resort and for the great time they all had and how much they loved the resort. It was also the most reasonably priced for families!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
