Dreams Riviera Cancun 2014 Brides

Recommended Posts

I am in the beginning stages of planning and need as much help as possible.

I wanted to have a rehearsal dinner does anyone know if they will arrange this without additional cost? Also does the dj provide a dance floor?

I would like to have my ceremony on the beach...cocktail hour on the terrace and reception on the beach. Does anyone have any tips or feedback?

Has anyone booked the photo booth?

Also what kind of group rates did everyone get we are expecting to book a little over 20 rooms.

Hello all. My wedding is just about a month away. Haven't really been in touch too much with my wedding coordinator, but I'm not stressed at all. We are keeping it all so simple. I do have a question, are we able to bring some of our own decor?

Thanks.

@@Knbertalot - You can bring your own decor, but the resort charges you a set-up fee if they do it for you.

@@MandM2014 - I've hardly seen men wear jeans at any resort we've stayed at in Mexico... Maybe email the resort and ask them? But, since they didn't specify material, I suppose any long pant would be fine.

@@ErickaLackey - The budget planner says how much each type of rehearsal dinner/welcome cocktail hour would cost per person. However, I have read about a loophole - if you and a group shows up during a slow hour, the restaurant will push tables together for you.

Does anyone know anything about the dance floor ? If I hire the dj does he bring one?

Also has anyone had reception on the beach ? It looks so pretty but I'm worried about comfort.

Do you pay additional for bridal party bouquets? Or can you swap out other flowers?

She's mine also! What happened!!???

They said she had a family emergency and had to leave. Not sure when your wedding is so don't know if it'll effect you too. My new WC is Maira. Anyone heard of her? She's been helpful so far.

Yeah you're definitely allowed to bring some of your own decor!

Anyone have their wedding on the pool deck? I'm trying to figure out if we need to rent additional lighting...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
