NOW Sapphire Photography HELP!

Recommended Posts

I am getting married March of 2014.  We signed up for the Divine package at NOW Sapphire which includes a photographer and video production.  BUT- I have no idea what the quality of their work is.  Could someone please fill me in?  It seems that everyone has been hiring outside photographers in addition to ones that the resort provides.  Is this necessary?  Feedback please!

Congrats on your NOW Sapphire Wedding, Julienna25!!!

If photography is important to you, we highly recommend bringing in an outside professional. Is it worth the risk of entrusting the guy wearing a "Photographer" t-shirt to capture those magical wedding "moments that matter" that occur Once-in-a-Lifetime ???

What about capturing all those details you're planning so meticulously, and spending so much energy on - to ensure they're Perfect?

There are no "do-overs" in this unique event.......your choice.

Congratulations!! I am getting married at NOW Sapphire in June and I just booked Ivan Luckie http://www.luckiephotography.com to photograph my wedding. He was recommended by the photographer (Sascha Gluck) that photographed my best friends wedding in Tulum 4 years ago  - who was not available on my wedding date.  Check out his site his work is fabulous. I also have a few others names that I was absolutely floored by their work. Good Luck!

Great choice, Ginger - you're sure to be glad about that decision for "happily ever after"!!! It's so reassuring to know all those precious moments will be captured on photos to re-visit your Big Day whenever you look at them, and cherish for your lifetime :)

All the best with the rest of your plans - Cheers :)

Daughter is getting married there next week and we haven't booked additional photographers. I got this information from the resort photographers. Http://summer2013nowsapphire.nowsapphire.adventure.com.mx check it out for comparison. I will definitely be giving a review by the end of the month. We also have a lot of family coming with their fancy cameras, so hopefully that will be enough.

I would defiantly go with an outside photographer, resort photographers are full of work, this makes their creativity at lowest, I guess they are not confortable in their jobs as well, I used an outside photographer and was the best decision, remember photography is the only left thing you will have to remember your best day, check out mine http://www.luckiephotography.com

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
