Save the dates from etsy vicentinedesign. we went with a starfish and similar colours. We liked the magnet part that guest got to keep to remind them of the date!

Ceremony Package: Complimentary just adding maracas and fans to each seat, maybe programs.

Ceremony: Symbolic Ceremony on the beach at 4:00

Minister: Mikes Aunt will be doing this for us!

The Ring :) :700

absolutely in love with my ring! My cousin is a jeweler so I pretty much told her what I wanted so she could be prepared when Mike came calling! It is an Oval cut diamond in an East/West setting with a halo of small diamonds and small diamonds on the band.

The Dress:

I don't have a great picture of the front of the dress. It is Hayley Paige Coco dress. I love the more ballgown look but thought this was super pretty and flowy for a beach wedding, it didn't seem too puffy to me!

Bouquet: A mix of Anemones and Ranunculus my favorites! These will be done my Marvin @ mayafloral.com

700Bridesmaids will have smaller versions of the same bouquet

Bridesmaids Dress: Ivory from RW&Co for 70$ I love them because they aren't typical or expected and love the touch of gold.

We havent decided on shoes yet, we have beaded footless sandals (i think that's what they are called) that I picked up from a vendor in Belize but I'm not 100% sold

Groom and Groomsmen:

Groom will wear this outfit including tie and vest. Total outfit cost 150$ Pants and vest and suspenders from RW&Co shirt Gap and shoes ALDO (still not 100% on the shoes, I may keep looking!)

Groomsmen: will wear the same outfit minus the tie and vest and they will have suspenders.

Photographers:

We have booked Juan from Del Sol Photography. I am unbelievably excited about this! I stretched my budget a bit but I love their work so so so much that I think its worth it!! Hopefully they can make us look as beautiful as their other model looking wedding parties!

Reception: Caribbean Terrace

Reception Food: Sticking with the free buffet, we haven't even started talking about which one.

Reception Tables:

Right now I think we are going to go with Acrylic tables with light underneath and Silver Tiffany chairs. My plan is to buy Votives here and bring them with me, They are crazy expensive to rent so I think this may be the one thing I bring with me! Other than centerpieces I think this is all we will need on the tables and they will look beautiful!

This is my idea right now for centerpieces but I'm waiting to hear back with a quote for these! I have a feeling I may need to come up with another idea!

Reception extra decor:

So far I have ordered Pinatas from http://www.maracasmexico.com/?page_id=457

I am super excited for these I hope they will be as much fun as I am hoping, if not they are adorable!!

I am also renting 4 illuminated lycra towers that will frame my dance floor and have Papel Picado strung between them again from Maracas mexico

Music: This is one area we decided to save money (I really hope we don't regret this decision!) we are opting to just rent the equipment and then use an iPod. Since in the end it really only ends up being 2 hours of party time (after cocktail hour, and dinner and having to shut down at 10pm), it seemed silly to spend almost $1600 on a DJ. But I really want a good party so fingers crossed we can pull this off!

So far these are all my thoughts, I'm sure I'm missing some things and I'm sure I'll change my mind on a few others but Ill keep posting as things change!

Wow!!! This all looks amazing! I love the piñatas! I really want one, but we're getting married in Cuba and I am not sure if they have anything like that available there. And I would be too worried of it breaking on the trip there to bring it with me. Your wedding will definitely be amazing!

Thank you! I'm getting excited! My piñatas are being made on the opposite side of Mexico so they do need to be shipped so I'm praying that goes well! I'm sure tey could ship to Cuba but I can't even imagine how much that would be lol. Cuba has so much culture I'm sure you could find a place there that makes them! Maybe ask your WC. I really don't remember how I found my vendors lol I'm sure it was just a google search. Happy planning of your wedding!

So I think I've made my decision on centerpieces! Completely different than I ever thought I would get since where I live I would never ever be able to afford it! Marvin @ Mayafloral does amazing work and I'm getting super excited to see everything put together!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
