Oh yeah, its going to be hot. Do you know if you want your hair up or down?

I like talking to you ladies. I try not to beat my FI or friend's ears up so it's nice to have other brides to bounce ideas off, vent, and get opinions :grouphug:

I looked at Jamaica but my TA said DR would the least expensive. However, I think I ended up picking one of the pricier resorts there. LOL. My first choice was Barbados but they had funky flights from Columbus. So DR here we come.

I am considering weave since will ve so hot and humid.
Yes it will be... That's the reason why I was thinking about it and because I won't have to put much thought into it and it will still look good lol I'm thinking about the types of weaves there are... If that's the option I go with I would like it to be very natural looking lol

Well the good thing is we have a lil time to figure it out. We're getting married/staying at the Hard Rock.

I'm not opposed to weave I just prefer my own hair. I don't want the hassle of dealing with the weave after the ceremony. With my own hair I can wet and go. So I'm determined to stick it out. Wish me luck ;). LOL. My Dominican stylist here said April weather isn't too bad so I'm hoping not to frizz. I'm not too concerned with the wind, I hope I'm not being naïve.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
