If you want to help a little or a lot...we can really use baby blankets/receiving blankets, new small suffed animals, sleepers or onezies for our newborn babies. No, we never have too many. Our art teacher that volunteers her time can use paint, paper or brushes for her kids. Watercolor ;-). Our schools can use your old laptops that work. (We would only be able to give them to the schools with electricity.) Ones that don't work aren't of any use, sorry. Many of our children learn to use computers on cardboard boxes...some things just aren't right. We can use fat crayons for real little people as well as regular crayons, paper, backpacks and any other school supplies normal kids use. If you are limited on room, feel free to go to Soriana's or on the current 'down' steet in front of Love Shack where they sell school supplies. You can purchase items when you get here. Really, our children, their parents and teachers can use all the help they can get. And, best of all...they are very appreciative and say Thank You! people have shipped stuff prior to their WC..mariana is very helpful and will most likely do this...if you decide that is what you want to do use DHL..there is a whole thread about this...let me see if i can find

I think that I may do what MariaElena did - or something like the painted sand-dollars I saw on the knot (did anyone see this). But most likely I will do nothing. To be honest i may not even be OOT bags... I'm not sure what I would put in them and I feel like they'll just get abandoned when people pack up to leave... but then again I'M still drinking out of the customized cups we got at my friend's wedding in the Bahamas (which was lovely byt he way)...

I would be a little worried about the M&Ms melting but you know those things stand up to a lot on their way to the store so maybe they'd be fine?

kash, people loved the OOT bags...and it made it easier to identify who was lounging where by the pool..everyone still has theres...my co-worker still carries hers EVERYDAY! and my sister...(so do I)...and our friends that didn't go all want the bag...people really use them all the time for groceries, etc.

i used canvas bags so they could be used as grocery bags...they were a huge hit!

Tammy, did you use white or natural canvas bags? I know it's on here somewhere- I just wanted to make sure I got the right color. I loved the look of yours.

i used the natural...they didnt look dirty as quickly...i have even washed mine a few times.

In addition OOT bags, we're also giving away personalized cd's. Before deciding we thought about cigars for the guys and bracelets/pendants for the women (silver is supposed to be reasonable there).

I agree with the other posts stating that most guests won't miss it especially if you give an OOT bag. Just remember not to go crazy thinking about it.

That's a great idea (canvas bags in natural). The wedding I went to in the Bahamas sort of had these cute but cheap-y like cloth/paper type of material (I don;t know how to explain it). But the point is that while they were cute they weren't really worht it to pack and take home... I think if I can find somethign I think people will actually keep and use then it's worth it. Otherwise not so much. I need to go and look on the OOT post to see what people are putting in there. Sunblock seems like a good idea. My friend also did visors which we loved and still wear... But I know it sounds silly but I don't want to steal too much from her... I mean she will BE there!

We are doing the OOT bags and were going to put the favors in there. We are going to get wine stoppers(its has a heart on the top). Its simple and we have a lot of wine drinkers coming to the wedding.
