Stacey Clarke photography

Recommended Posts

For anybody seeking a photographer for their wedding in Jamaica, I would recommend Stacey Clarke. We did not get our pictures yet but I can tell that the small pictures we saw on her camera looked amazing. She made the process really easy, helped us with our positions and made us comfortable. We had rain for a while and she waited for it to stop to shoot pictures on the beach like we wanted. She also told us she wasn't looking at the clock since we had only taken a 2 hour package. The package was worth every penny and I would take her again as a photographer if I had to start over! I was first worried that 2 hours wouldn't be enough for the pictures but I think we had plenty of time to take some great frames. We had our wedding at the Grand palladium Lady Hamilton and had 8 pictures included in our waves of love package that were taken by true colours photography. They were the original plan but never got back with my emails. I was worried that they wouldn't be there on the wedding day since I never got news from them and that is when I found Stacey thank god. They were at the hotel so they came for our 8 frames and made us do cheesy poses and didn't look happy... When we went to choose our 8 pictures, they tried to sell us the 90 pictures they took (that weren't good because we were always looking at our photographer and not them) for 300$... Enough said about true colours but I would never recommend them.

Thank you Stacey

In case anyone is looking at using Stacey now, I would seriously recommend against it. I used her this spring and though she was great leading up to my wedding day and on my wedding day after that she basically stopped responding to me. For a period of time i thought I was never going to get my photo's and was actually very despondent about the whole situation. It took over 4 months and I did get them however I know several other brides that having been waiting 5-6 months with no luck. Further to this, I still have not received my photobook or my print credit from her and highly doubt I ever will. There are a lot of great photographers out there, don't use Stacey. And if your not convinced, just take a look at her Facebook page at some of the comments (though she does remove them periodically)  and see all the very upset people over her lack of communication.

We are on Week 14 - but 4 weeks ago she emailed saying she would ship our package that week and we still don't have them :( I wonder if anyone who used her got their slideshow and photo album?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
