Absolute Wedsite in Toronto - HORRIBLE SCAMMERS

Recommended Posts

I'm shocked at some of these horror stories. I'm just getting back from my destination wedding in Jamaica at the Grand Bahia Principe and I had booked it through Absolute Wedsite and it was amazing. The whole process from beginning to end was stress-free and so simplified. I had 42 guests and we didn't have one issue. He hardest part of my entire process was picking our resort. In fact we were so happy with our experience that we've already decided to book our next trip with our agent that helped us with the wedding. Maybe we got lucky with our agent.

Hello, I am shocked to see these stories you all have posted. We actually had my brother's wedding booked in 2014 with them and had the best destination wedding at Bahia Principe Tulum. We were 140 guests.

I have recommended three of my friends and they are so happy with there service as well.

I think you all should reconsider and not trust reviews always.

I have actually talked to the owner about the reviews and she explained for each and every review and it was absolutely not the company at fault , it was either the airlines or the bride and groom them self.

That's all I should say, rest it is your call.

I actually spoke to the owner about one of this review, see below and came to know the couple family friends could not afford to pay for the Beach Palace an expensive hotel they booked and they had to cancel and Air Canada Vacations did not give there deposits back and they started blaming Absolutewedsite. This groom actually was attending below bride Shareen's wedding and he had no words to say when talked  about the service from travel agency to all the way to complete event planning looked after by this agency.

Read below:

A year ago today we decided to have our wedding on April 30th, 2016. In August 2015 we contacted Absolute to have them help us plan the travel portion for all our guests. What a nightmare! As with any company, we were promised 'absolute'ly everything during first discussions with them, what we received was 'absolute'ly nothing. In fact we actually lost money dealing with them and had to cancel our destination wedding and have it locally. There were other factors that led to this of course, but a main one was the stress and frustration of dealing with them AND the stress and frustrations our guests had dealing with them as well. Lack of knowledge, lack of communication, lack of response. There's about 25 reviews on Facebook, and 7 of them are from people with terrible experiences. That's not a good ratio for a company in charge of one of the most important days of a couple's life. There's much better companies out there which will actually take care of you, and most importantly tell you the truth. Stay away at all costs!!

One of the recent review I saw on there facebook:

As a full time working bride with a hectic schedule trying to plan a destination wedding, I knew I needed an experienced team that could make my wedding day vision into a reality.
That it why I entrusted Raj and her team at Absolute Wedsite for our wedding coordination.

Jessica was amazing with booking almost 100 guests with all of their requests and numerous phone calls. She stayed patient and met all of the guests needs. Tina helped me with coordinating all our events in Mexico and making the perfect itinerary for all the guests.Manti helped with the décor aspect to help my vision for all my events come to reality with both the Mexico and Toronto events.Raj was there every step of the way always calling me to make sure everything was going smoothly and if their was anything else I needed

If you are looking for an extremely diligent, organized, and professional wedding day planners with a passion for their clients, then I would strongly encourage you to contact Raj at Absolute Wedsite. We invest so much time, energy and money into the planning process, I wouldn’t have been able to do it all without this amazing team. With less than 3 weeks away from our big day. I know the team at Absolute Wedsite will make my day the best ever. Thanks again Ladies, post wedding review to follow

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
