I got married here August 8 2014. The best decision ever.  I was a Jellyfish bride up until I found out that Mayte was no longer with the Jellyfish venue. I was in a complete panic mode. However, I did reach out to Mayte and she updated me on what was going on. I did hesitate at first, but realized that Mayte was the reason I chose Jellyfish. What she does with the place is phenomenal. She has a true passion for what she does and it shows within her work. She made the transition for my fiancé and I with no problem. I skyped with Mayte, spoke on the phone and wrote numerous of emails. She always made time for me. I showed her what I liked through photos and left the rest up to her. I felt completely confident in Mayte and I was not worried after having spoken to her. Once I met her I was in love with the place and Mayte. I even met Natalia. They both are beautiful ladies so sweet and devoted. I couldn't have asked for better or more qualified wedding coordinators. The day of my wedding we arrived bright and early for hair and makeup with Anna Nuet (who is amazing as well). Mayte took care of us all morning and afternoon and right into the wedding. The food at Huracan is absolutely delicious. The drinks were very good, some strong ones for our big drinkers and soft drinks for the guest who don't drink much. Everyone raved about the BIG JEROME. They continue to talk about the food and drinks. The want my husband and I to have our 1 yr Anniversary there again. Not bad idea at all lol. The decor.......took my breath away. I was so stunned with how well put the colors and every detail was put together. It was way better then i imagined it for myself. I could not believe it was all for me. Mayte and Natalia 100% made the perfect wedding my dream wedding happen. I completely recommend Huracan or at least Mayte and Natalia for your dream wedding. They make it very personal and do it for the love of the job! I love those ladies. I am posting my gallery for all to see.

Feel free to reach out directly to Mayte for pricing information. She is extremely friendly and quick to respond. 

 

Planning on getting married June 13, 2015 at Huracan Cafe. I chose this venue mainly because everyone spoke so highly of Mayte. 

 

For those choosing Huracan Cafe, can you share where you and your guests will be staying? A lot of people recommend NOW Larimar, but looking at the pictures it just doesn't impress me.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
