Now, our wedding is less than 8 months away, I feel I'm now on countdown. I ordered my dress. However, I'm Still wondering if we should use the resort photographer or hire an outside photographer? Want to do a Trash the Dress shoot, pre-ceremony and evening activities pictures. I'm wondering if the resort photographer will stay with me all afternoon to the evening hours?

What is everyone else doing right now?

Any photographer will stay with you all day if you pay them :) we had an 8 hour package. Good luck choosing.

Coming down the stretch in the final 3 months countdown. Now, I have purchased my wedding invitations, (doing boarding passes), and just waiting for the final product to arrive. My hope is to mail them out by August 15th.

Also, purchaed my Bridal Entourage gifts: Monogram tote bag, flip flops, Kimono robe, and a Personalized shot glass.

For the men: Monogram Backpack, shoes for the wedding and beach, and Ear Phones

There are A LOT of guests NOT coming to the wedding b/c of various reasons. Now, since our wedding will be on Thanksgiving afternoon, and almost all of the families who are not going to the wedding will be together anyway for dinner, they want us to Skype the wedding. I decided not to Skype the actual wedding ceremony, but maybe Skype during the reception.

What are my other fellow November Brides doing now?

Had a GREAT weekend!! My friends planned a surprise spa getaway weekend. They just told me to have a weekend bag together and include a swimsuit. Also to be ready at 9:00am the next day. Next thing I know, we are at a spa resort hotel getting a full body massage. Loved it!!

Now, back to wedding planning. Lol. I have been very busy.

Just sent out my invitations.post-271841-0-88851200-1441103668_thumb.jpgpost-271841-0-55335600-1441103694_thumb.jpgpost-271841-0-71080000-1441103728_thumb.jpg

Also, finished my Bridal Entourage gifts: tote bag, kimono robe, purple clutch purse with Jo Malone sample perfumes, wet bikini bag, shot glass, and flip flops.

Finished my centerpieces.

Still waiting for people to RSVP and pay for their rooms...so frustrating!!

You are getting a lot done @@RandL2015

Since I'm so short, the designer custom made my dress to fit my height but when I had my first fitting I discovered they had cut it too short and they have to remake the skirt which won't be finished until October and the wedding is in November :(

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
