Just checking in on my fellow Nov. 2015 Brides. What have you done so far? So far, I mailed out my STD. Looking forward to completing my To Do list next year.

I have to admit that I stumbled upon my wedding dress in August. I had no intentions of buying it so far out from the wedding, but when I found it I couldnt imagine myself in anything else. It was a once a year sale, and it happened to be the last day of the sale, so I took it!!

My FI and I are paying for the wedding ourselves so we have been collecting OOT items a little at a time so it does not feel so expensive/stressful next year.

As for the STDs, we have to have deposits by the beginning of Feb. A lot of our guest have children, and with it being so close to Christmas we thought it was best to send the STDs now so they have a lot of notice.

I think that we are done with wedding things now until the new year.

Since I sent out the STDs, was going to send out an Evite email on the 1 year count down day. Just a friendly reminder of the wedding website and booking information. : - )

So exciting to see other November 2015 brides getting ready for the big day! I found it was good to have so much time to plan but now that's we're a year away it's definitely go time. So far we've decided on Las Caletas, Puerto Vallarta and put down a deposit. I tried on dresses and think I found the one but will give myself until January in case a happen to change my mind which I doubt will happen. Just working on the wedding passport invitations then we'll get those out early January.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
